POI-Categories

POI in topoos must be assigned to one category at least. POI Categories operations allows your app to register, update and delete these categories. You must use an Administrator Token for many of these operations.

For example:

You can register POIs for inhabited houses and unoccupied houses, but all of them are houses. Because of this, you can preregister three Categories on your app context: HOUSE, INHABITED, UNOCCUPIED and get their identifiers as result.

When you register a POI that represents an inhabited house, you specify both categories identifiers: HOUSE and INHABITED. When you register a POI that represents an unoccupied house, you specified both categories identifiers: HOUSE and UNOCCUPIED.

By doing this, you are now able for request all near houses (of any type) with POI Get Near operation specifying the HOUSE category identifier; or you can get only the near inhabited houses with the same operation but specifying both category identifiers HOUSE and INHABITED.

It’s so useful!
